The Kansas Flying Disc Association is involved in the following projects in the State of Kansas:

  • The rebranding and phasing of improvements to the Prairie Pass Disc Golf Course in Overland Park, KS. This course is owned by the Blue Valley School District and the 2-year phased project included new signage, new entry kiosk, picnic tables, new tee pads, an additional set of “advanced” tee pads and new baskets (compliments of MVP and DFX Discs). This reimagined course opened in the Spring of 2022.

  • Consulting on the Flying Mavericks Disc Golf Course in Spring Hill, KS. This is a 9 hole course imagined by Jeff Preston, a teacher in the Spring Hill School District where students are designing and installing their own course as part of their STEM class. The course is set to open in the Spring of 2023.

  • Consulting and a 10 year naming agreement with the City of Lenexa for the Black Hoof Park Disc Golf Complex. This facility has a 9 hole beginner friendly course as well as an 18 hole (Eric McCabe designed) 10,000 ft championship course with multiple tees and pin placements. Henderson Engineers is also a named sponsor for this state of the art facility in western Johnson County.
